Why We Created Bahaon

Bahaon began with a simple problem we experienced ourselves.

My wife and I love travelling and exploring new places, but we are always cautious about driving through unfamiliar areas, especially because our vehicle has low ground clearance. We do not always know which roads are prone to flooding, and that uncertainty can quickly turn a trip into a stressful experience.

One time, we were caught in heavy flooding and had to wait at a gasoline station because we could not safely cross the road ahead. That experience made us think: what if people could easily see which places are known to flood before they travel?

That is why we created Bahaon.

Our goal is to help people share and discover flood-prone areas so drivers, commuters, and communities can plan ahead, choose safer routes, and avoid getting stranded. We believe that even simple, community-shared information can make travelling safer and less stressful for everyone.
